Personally I’m a huge fan of the place. A pretty strip of land, except Birkenhead and Wallasey, and good folk without the try hardness of these across the river.

The Wirral is the best part of Liverpool but it's biggest flex is that it's not actually part of Liverpool.

I seem to remember it as being quite nice. Lived in Wallasey for a short time in 1939 when I was three.

I see it like that big wall on game on thrones… it protects us from the out(Mersey)siders and the smack rats affectionately known as the white shell suit walkers from Liverpool.
