In the days of PC you still will do wonders with a fit barmaid lad

Have 20 of them along the bar to get the bevvies out as fast as possible

Have bottles to speed it up even more

get some short-throw projectors instead of big screens

Hot food that isn't 3 quid for a sausage roll wouldn't go amiss

Hoping to open March 1st according to the new owners

"Hopefully March 1st, but only the two ground floor bars, new flooring, paint work inside and out, new bathrooms in both bars.

Then come close season we will work on the existing upstairs bar which will be transformed into modern bar with individual private booths.

Also on the same level were putting in another bar which is three rooms becoming one large room where you can have a nice sit down dinner before games at an affordable price, with a private bar.

Finally then the top floor will consist of guest rooms all ensuite.

Its not a straight forward project and there will be bumps along the way but we've got the right team involved.

Its long term we dont have any finance on the building so we arent under any pressure from any bank. We will do things the right way and ensure that The Winslow Hotel lives up to its new slogan as "The Peoples Pub""
