Have you ever had snow in Perth ?

I think it snowed once back in the 1950s or something.

We do sometimes get very slight snow in the hills every so often, but not in the city

Actually, just did a quick check - it has never snowed in Perth itself, and it was the Perth hills that had snow back in the 60s

Perth had its coldest day for over 50 years on Monday, maximum temp only reached an excruciatingly cold 11.4C

Knew I'd felt a touch of cold yesterday, a chill I couldn't chase away in feet. Well, up for a pish about 40 minutes ago and I heard a couple of geese on the move. When they start heading south it means the tide has turned and the first thrash of winter is upon us. How thoroughly depressing.

Seems the record sunshine we got through spring and early summer and 3 heatwaves have to be paid for. Winter is rolling in with a vengeance. It's the first week of October and there's a severe chill about.
