The wacky world of Brendan Rodgers

I tell you what, no mark or not, if he hadn't have been their manager I'd have him here like a shot.

Only his own naivety and a slip from Gerrard denied him a title, and the games they played City in they certainly held their own.

Only a once in a lifetime player got him anywhere near the title.

He's hopeless. A donkey could lead them to the Scotch title and they were hammered at Parkhead, having only three shots on target all game. The emptihad was a nothing match against reserves.

I dont know, there's plenty of managers who have had great finishers and still came up further off the title than Liverpool did that season.

My concern isn't for Rodgers as such, just that any manager who commits to attack (and to numbers in attack) seems preferable to the tactics we adopt right now.

He believes he's a Manager of some standing. The arrogance of the man is simply breath taking. Forget the teeth whitening for a second, the self portrait of himself in his own house (why not get a photo..you bellend?) or the complete exaggeration of the ability of young kid from their pit - I was going to say Like Father, Like Son but then I remember the enlightened one told us Ibe was a superstar.

In fairness I remember that particular protege hitting the post once in a Derby - so perhaps the self opinionated great one called it right, especially as he got 15 big ones from Bournemouth for that insight.

There is little for me to like in the man, but for the press he carries a certain charm. Each to their own.
