One of the most influential bands in rock 'n' roll history, made some of my favourite records. They could veer from horrible abrasive noise to sheer beauty on the same record, and their dark, black-clad image, avant-head cool and "f___ off" attitude completely opposite from what was popular at the time. People say nobody bought their records back then but everyone who did formed a band. Well, my uncle Rob bought them and passed them on to me when I was a teenager and I was smitten.
