What a video!

If I recall correctly, they were given a budget and just decided to do their own video, and everything you see actually happened; i.e. wasn't staged. And the money they're handing out is that from their budget. Money well spent! :lol:

Probably my favorite U2 video. I just love the dreamlike quality of the song, and the way they the lights in the buildings turn on in harmony with the harmonics on Edge's guitar. U2 at it's most experimental in terms of singles. Just a beautiful, almost spiritual quality to this video. From a personal standpoint, this album and song always reminds me of my one and only trip to Europe (France and England) in high school in 1984. I was listening to this non-stop. Whenever I hear this I can almost physically smell the diesel fumes that were (maybe are?) so prevalent in France back then :)

Probably my favorite Cure song of all time. I love the juxtaposition of the palm trees and snow.
