Seems we have a taste for retrospective on former managers here on GOT.

Let's talk Sam Allardyce. Hugely unpopular first his brand of football, but it was effective. Getting us to the dizzy heights of 8th. Very willing to spend money on short term fixes though.

Contra Dyche, who is hugely unpopular for his style of football but is currently massively inefficient in terms of results.

So, was Allardyce a better manager? Should we have given him more time?

Can only tell you what I see, and Alladyce football surprised at just how unwatchable it was. I don't mind watching Dyche Everton teams generally when we have performed well such as the Derby, chelsea at home, villa away etc. Even when we got results with Sam it was near unbearable to watch.

Just my opinion on the matter.

Fair enough, I'll admit it was dreadful. No need for a meet up in Morrisons car park over this issue. 😁
