I love my dog as much as I imagine I would love a child of my own, which I don't plan on having. If someone killed him, I'd want to do all sort of horrible things to the person concerned.

But then that would make me as bad as them, two wrongs don't make a right.

Fed up with this "eye for an eye" and "you don't have kids you wouldn't understand" crap on GOT in these threads. None of you are football managers either but you'd think the place is full of Brian Cloughs on a Saturday evening.

But you serve my point. MY have no feelings towards a dog and therefore the mention of a dog being hurt or killed, i can only imagine and not know the feelings behind it.

If you don't have kids then you dont have that emotional bond in your life. Where you spend every available minute trying to be a good parent, teach them right from wrong, feel proud from achievements they make, spend time together doing something. None of which you can do with a dog.

So no, having a dog and having kids are not similar notions.

But my daughter as mentioned in a different post is completely different notion altogether. As i said in an earlier post maybe i am extreme but when i am holding my 4 month old daughter now, i know that 9 years down the line i encountered something like this i know i wouldn't leave it to the courts. But that is just me, anyone who hurts my kids in any malicious way will deal with me.

To go back to the original post its terrible that the bloke is free but he was sentenced for indecent assault and the judge can only impose a sentence within the guidelines .

The first sentence although It'd have been justified was illegal and if this judge had given him 10 years we'd have just had the whole process again and him appealing the sentence .

I'm sure the judge can't have been happy .
