It's coming, the war ending battle is heating up for the 1st of September. Pick your side and prepare for battle.

We all remember the great war of 2016 and the first summer of Moshiri's ownership. The excuse makers led by The Esk and his General Damo with his massive hordes of Eskimoes entered that summer thinking they would destroy the bed wetters and celebrated Moshiri as the " Force Multiplier " and he would lead us to European glory.

" Witsel was ours " and Mata was a done deal they told us. But, in the villages the bed wetter movement grew and grew and the excuses of the Euro's , summer holidays all came crashing down as the bed wetters ran through the excuse makers vanguard and destroyed there lines. It was a horrific defeat for the excuse makers and the Esk and Damo left these lands and sailed off away from the battlefields.

Nine years on and the forces are set for battle again under the first summer of the TFG ownership. This time the excuse makers are the leading force at the start of the summer.

Pick your side and prepare for WAR!!!

I'll hold fire until September 1st.
I refuse to either make excuses OR criticise until then.
Meanwhile I'll sit here munching on cheese and French bread and sup my port like every other sane minded person who realises that neither criticism nor excuses will make one iota of difference. 🤷‍♂️

We’ve barely covered our self-inflicted losses to an already very thin squad.

We knew what our weak areas were before the window started, but have failed to address them.

We should be OK relegation-wise this year, but it’s me or two different injuries will cripple us, and that is without taking AFCON into consideration.

I’m glad we’ve bought sensibly this time round. 2016s scattergun approach was reckless and in part left us with crap players with huge contracts.

Going down the quality route appeals and I hope we can get one or two more in before the loans arrive. If we can’t then I’ll wait until next summers window for the next squad improvement.

That was 2017 when we had the scattergun approach and bought every number 10 going under the sun.
