The Town

Just got round to watching The Town (nothing to do with Ipswich Town to my suprise), starring and directed by Ben Affleck.

Decent film and good plot and I'd defo say worth a watch even though the ending was a bit wet in my opinion...but then it was an Affleck movie.

Smithy rating: 3 out of 5 championship belts.

3/5 kinda film for me too. It was good, don't get me wrong, but at times it made me think "why don't I just watch Heat again?" a bit too much.

Ben Affleck can not carry a film, simple as.

as a kid living in boston i liked it a lot! its not often we get movies actually filmed 100% here.

but yeah the ending was meh. a lot of parts could have been stronger. but entertaining

I agree. A lot of people hate Affleck but I don't mind him at all, but agree he can't carry it himself. However, from a direction point of view it wasn't bad at all. Just nothing different.
