This kid looks to be Scotland's future, born and raised in Spain to Scottish parents who had moved out there just before he was born, he has committed himself to playing for Scotland!
I'd imagine if he was brought up in Scotland things would be very different! The buckfast years would have seen to any potential the lad had as a footballer, and a human being! He would have been thrown into the notorious Scottish amateur leagues, getting booted all over by angry, middle-aged, alcoholic wife-beaters before being considered 'too weak' to make it in the game!
Maybe this is the answer for Scotland, shipping our talented young sportsmen off to Spain? It worked with Andy Murray!
