The Stone Roses - Yay or Nay

One of my favourite bands ever, from 88-90 they were very few who could touch them and that debut album is as close to perfection as there is.

What does the rest of GOT think?

but waterfall, i am the ressurection,fools gold etc etc are fantastic genuinely innovative songs...just dont listen to their live performance from 1995(i think) at reading festival,its amazing how bad that is!

The first album is possibly my favourite ever. All the songs they put out around then were amazing too, Sally Cinnamon, Fools Gold, Mersey Paradise, Here It Comes...

Haha yeah, some of Ian Brown's live shows are absolutely appalling but I suppose they're one of those bands who are about more than that

not my era but can see why they are big. Fools gold and the other one i like are decent songs, probably if i was 10 years older i would like them.

So its a yay (but not really one) form me.

Great band. It was ace seeing Ian Brown at Creamfields a few years back, dragged me out of the Drum and Bass tent and not much could of done that
