Habaneros are my favourite, them or scotch bonnets, anyway. You're bang on about jalapeno with steak though.

Black pudding, thin slice of melted stilton, nice thick medium rare fillet, topped with a peppery sauce.

Just been to the local farm shop and got me some prime ribeye for tea tonight. It cost £7 and It's f'in huge. Got some proper job peppercorn sauce to go with it, onion rings, tomato, the works.
No mushrooms though. Evil bloody things.
