The Spinners in Gregsons Well

I have great memories of the Spinners from when I was a kid, they used to have a show on every Saturday on the TV and my family used to watch it ( Remember the days when all the family watched TV together, what happened to that?) lol
Mick Groves who sang on that clip used to come along to our school and entertain us occasionally, his kids went to ours also, few years younger than me, his lad went on to become a reasonably famous actor David Groves.

The Spinners are on my Mum and Dads wedding photo in Gregsons Well, I remember as a kid seeing them on one of those Public Information Films which used to be shown at the end of nights telly on the BBC, it hasn't aged well tbh!

Wiki'd them, sadly only two of them left in their mid eighties, they had some repertoire.

I must admit I was looking on that video to see if any of my family were there, there's a good possibility someone will spot a member of their family on there. Wouldn't that be boss
