The silence from the club is a disrespect toward the fans

Player Valuation: £8m
And i am not talking about Bill only, the club as a whole, from the chairman to the board to the people in charge of PR to the manager and even some of the players

The CEO wrote a blog last week and said that the club remains ambitious, that's not what the fans want to hear, i am sure League 2 teams have the ambition to win the Premier League one day, every football club should have ambition.

We (the fans) and as much as we care about the long term situation of the club, we care about now too, what's the strategy of the club for next season? that's more up to the manager to talk about, yet he hasn't said a word since 2 months.

The Nzogbia thing is not just an internet rumor, almost all media outlets ran the story about us wanting him last week, it was breaking news on SSN, if Moyes is not after him, he should deny the rumor, if he was after him, he should come out and say why we didn't make any bids (basically he should come out and say i wanted him but the board didn't provide me the funds).

Fans are fuming, everyone is angry, many are not renewing their season tickets, others loosing interest in the club as a whole, yet the club is busy advertising about how to pay a fiver and watch the pre-season games (the OS had around 10 articles about them since the start of the summer).

Not having money has nothing to do with treating the fans this way, football clubs are nothing without the fans.

I know Moyes likes to do things "Secretly" (the Everton way) but he himself said that he would like to bring in the players early, he didn't, so he has to explain why

A small look at the Forum(s) and you can clearly see how everyone is lost, nobody knows what's happening, more and more people turning against the board and manager and club as a whole

We deserve explanation (no matter how bad the reality is), today there are stories about Leeds united outbidding us for a 150K signing, other club fans are making all kind of jokes about it, twitter and Forums full of "mocking Everton", Everton is now the joke of Football fans, all this and people in charge of the club (board and management) are no where to be heard.

Again I repeat, not having a rich owner has nothing to do with "public relations", fans and the board are becoming enemies, the hate growing day by day and the club as a whole is and will suffer (more) from this.

Ehh, I'd rather not support a club that puts their business in the papers and responds to rumors. If there's a downside to that, so be it.

I think it is funny that people have deluded themselves into thinking we would have any significant activity this off-season.

And they do not have to confirm or deny anything. Why should the club take up time responding, in part, to mostly gibberish made up to grab a headline.

We knew we don't have a pot to piss in, and this is completely expected.

Still, I'd rather support Everton, because they are Everton and they are the club who capture my heart.

Yet it IS an Everton forum.

I can't think of a bigger talking point than our silence in the transfer market and our inept board. What do you expect us to talk about, tiddlywinks or something?

Maybe it's just me then who's fed up of seeing these threads. Every single person thinks they're being original or something.

Do something constructive, like the people's group. This isn't constructive; it's tedious.

I mean "feel free to email the above to Ross or others"... what the [Poor language removed] is that? Like GOT's some kind of Evertonian P.O box.

For the record, I've nothing against OP's thoughts or opinions. I'm beyond fed up too. But I'm also fed up of seeing so many people start these threads. It doesn't do anything.

They've not been silent. They've more or less called us pricks for daring to question them.

There's one main question I would like the answer to:

What value are messr's Woods and Earl adding for their substantial shareholding. If between them, they are unable to provide the manager with £10 million to buy a proven target, then what business do they have owning Everton FC?

Absolutely nailed.

Lets swerve this place becoming Toffeeweb ffs.

Nope I'm fed up of them too. But unless we close the Everton forum completely from June through til the beginning of September then I expect people to express disappointment at the club in the same way as there'd be an influx of excitement if we signed a player.

Not nailed at all to be fair. I'd rather have a mix of opinion rather than this place becomes a complete lovefest like the comments you see "approved for publication" at the bottom of everything on the OS.

What else is there to talk about other than potential signings and how turd Kenwright is? We could start eight threads on how Anichebe is going to be like a new signing I guess!

I agree with Dylan. Spot on really.

We seriously considered that.

I've been here since the start lid, it's nailed trust me.

You want to direct your ire at those who got the Kenwright thread closed.

There's plenty of things to discuss but a small few want to steer every thread into anti board fury.

I'm not asking for D/D to go all Kim Jong-Il, mate, but there has to be something in between absolutely no debate and a cycling of repetitious threads expressing the exact same things all day, every day.
