Funnily enough it was Jolly Beach we stayed at....had a great time, we went to an anti-drugs concert headlined by the wailers, and I tell yer...you didn't need to buy any gear - the air was thick with it....I guess the message was anti-hard drugs, and that the green stuff is okay!

Top place - I met some geezer on the beach called Noah (he was selling Aloe amongst other things) said that he worked the winter season out on jolly Beach - then went ski-ing in Switzerland on the profits - I told him to do one as I thought he was having me on! But he came back next day with loads of photos and stuff - Now I'm in Switzerland on a regular basis, so we kept in touch and have met up many times in various resorts/locales - he's a top bloke...wider than a wide thing but totally boss

I've stayed at Jolly Beach hotel about 4 years ago, and it is a little moody I agree. We stayed on the ground floor going right on to the beach, but in the cheap end... room was a bed and walls. I remember meeting a family from Bristol who'd brought a load of skunk over with them, the whole beach reeked of it.

Classy place...! Free rum all day kind of glossed over all the bad points though, and the diving on Antigua is amazing.
