Let's keep some perspective here, there's bigger things as stake.

You can enter any sauce you want into it but there can be only one winner. Go.

Semi finals:

HP v Salad Cream

Habanero v blue cheese sauce.

HP v Salad Cream went to penalties but Salad Cream prevailed.

Habanero had too much about them and swept to a comfortable 2-0 win.

Final:

Salad Cream v Habanero

A match for the purists. Tightly contested until the second half when Salad Cream's better players stepped up and scored two late goals.

Final score: Salad Cream 3 - 1 Habanero.

HP, Reggae reggae and piri-piri would all destroy salad cream which is, quite frankly, a girls sauce.

Semi Final
Sweet Chilli V HP Fruity

Having come runner up to thousand island in the group stages, this years surprise (and fat free) package, Sweet Chilli finally succumbed to many pundits dark horse, HP fruity. After a devastating opening half hour, Fruity stormed into a 3 nil lead. 2 second half goals for the stir fry accompaniment led to an exciting final 15 minutes, but HP held out for victory.

Semi Final
Salad Cream Vs Mayonnaise

After sweeping aside a strong Blue Cheese dressing XI in the quarters, Salad Cream destroyed Mayonaisse by 4 unanswered goals in a display of such utter dominance that any lingering doubts over who really is the king of the lettuce were finally put to bed. An aged Mayonnaise squad looked bereft of ideas and will undoubtedly need a period of transition to integrate some youth into the side.

Final

Salad Cream v HP Fruity.

In many ways the dream final, a true contrast of styles was seen in this adsorbing finale. Salad cream, with there big game mentality overcame a spirited HP Fruity, who were ultimately undone by the lack of any sausages. Goals late in each half sealed the victory for Salad Cream who will now add a second sauce bottle motif to their crest.
