There is a higher power, but it cares not what we do in this life. Only we care (or should care).

My personal belief is that we are the higher power, and that after death in this life, we return to The One of where we came from. The One of our true being cares not what we do here, it only cares that we experience here, so that we have fresh input to take back to The One which we are once we return.


This is my personal belief, and it's not something I'm gonna convince many people of, not even myself. This belief is based on a feeling of revelation I experienced some years ago.


Now, how is that contradictory to anything else I've written?

No, it's because comparing our perception of the existence of electricity with the monotheistic god of christianity is inane at best.

More like knowledge vs perception, as existence falls under knowledge.

The gods of religions fall under neither. So we have to broaden:

knowledge vs perception vs belief-without-knowledge/perception


Put like that those with such belief systems don't have much back-up.

Basically we come down to first questions.

Did man create God, or did God create man?

Then:

If so, does it all matter?

I believe each individual has his own answers to these questions, which can also be no answer at all.
