The Reality©

I am reading the papers this morning and they are saying (after the relative performances of Everton, who created chances for fun and the RS, who didn't have 1 shot on goal in open play against the most out of form team in the league) that Liverpool can now win the league. We are 500/1 meanwhile, and if it wasn't for a 98th minute goal we'd be ahead of them! Don't know why it still winds me up after 40 years of it, but it does!

They do have that world class player playing for them though, Dodginho Penaltinho.

As has been covered it's fine to criticise but same as when you're giving praise it's best to be reasonable about it. Or you'll get called out.

I defy any reasonable Evertonian to read the Martinez thread since yesterday and not cringe at the over the top reaction from fellow fans.

Anyone who actually read that thread since yesterday doesn't fit the definition of reasonable - except for our outstanding mod team, of course.

Everton forum? Sake.

Anyway the reality is that we have a promising young squad who if we keep together should progress more than we have preciously for some time but keeping them together may be the problem in the modern game, hence why some impatience is understandable.

Acting like spoilt Geordies only will lead to turning into Newcastle and that's no good for Everton so take Martinez's ups and downs into context, you can see clearly what he's attempting to do. Short termism in the Premier League is a blight on many a club.

...you can be surprisingly reasonable at times for such an absolute beaut, Chico. No amount of money could make me read that bag of appetites and fume. Fuming way too hard myself, for one.
