My theory is that the current board had a plan to move to Kirkby, and then put the club up for sale. However as it transpired, the Kirkby move never materialised, and since then the bunch of planks running are club have been treading water, without a clue what to do....hoping for a miracle that Moyes will somehow qualify for CL on a regular basis, or win a few trophies (all without any inward investment). Or their other blind hope was this miraculous "Investment"...

Who in their right mind is gonna invest in a football club and not own it?

Ay, what happened with all those Bankers in 2008, and how many billions have just been bottowed by the US again?

They're taking the piss out of us on Sky Sports News.

Showed some great clips of us winning the league in the 70s and 80s though.

Oil is recession proof, QPR were a business opportunity to be moved up to the prem and sold (and they had dodgy banned peoples on their board), and the more said about LFC the better.
As for blinkered, havn't Man Utd spent less and less in recent years? And havn't Barca and Real had to be bailed out by their respective areas of their country? And havn't Newcastle been up for sale (and sold all their big name stars) and Arsenal on the back foot with boardroom games. Yeah, blinkered.

Yeah Blinkered - There's supposedly a double-dip recession ongoing in the US yet my Company has just been bought for $3.2Billion
so yes there's money about, and yes there's investors looking for opportunities..
