On a serious note, and I'm surprised noone has mentioned this, but the person we are missing most this season is Moyes.

Even when we had Neville, Pienaar, Saha, Vaughan, Osman, and even Lescott, we were still playing like a Division 1 team.

The players heads are up their ass at the moment, and yes, it would be nice to have all our star players back, but in the kitchen that is football, there is no point adding great ingredients into a bad soup, and our head chef needs to look at a different recipe, and start again.

hear hear.. speech bastardo.. we need a masterplan as moyes got it in his locker..

There isn't one player we're missing more than others, we're just missing key players, players with influence.
The squad at the minute are down and battered but there isn't A) anything the manager can do to freshen the team up and change the flow or B) a lot of the big characters like Phil Neville, Phil Jagielka, Mikel Arteta or Steven Pienaar who can change the complexion of a game or raise the team.

The club is quite heavily ill and we're sluggishly prodding along until we get the medicine we need.

Geez, you could go for anyone here.

Jags - To get things sorted in the back so we stop leaking goals.

Pienaar - Really our only creative attacking force lately.

Neville - Missing his bite and never say die attitude in the middle of the park

Arteta - He's been out so long that many have forgotten how great he is with the ball at his feet.
