Admit it mate, humans have always been criminals. If Maradona was playing for England in 1986, he would have handled even then too, and the English would be proud of him. No nation is any more honest than any other . We are all the same, criminal species.

The things you say did happen in the past but there's no denying they're more common nowadays. Whether it's players playing to their mid/late 30s, diving or impatient boards.
