Player Valuation: £50m
we go from facing the side we have taken most points from during the prem era to facing the side that has taken the most points when playing us in the pre era.

we would have liked some fireworks/injuries in their game today,
we also play away in holland on thursday so have travel and fatigue to possibly play a part.

if today was superbowl sunday or whatever it was called, what does next sunday merit regarding a hyped up naming?

GRAND SLAM SUNDAY ON ESPN, THIS COMMERCIAL IS SPONSORED BY GATORADE.

I think this coming Sunday is: 'Everton runs circle around Man Ure' SUNDAY. COME ON YOU BLUES

I fancied us at Goodison but look what happened :(

Of course i'd like to take 3 points, or more realisticly 1 but if we can go out there and match them, show the world what Everton can do as a footballing team now i will be happy.
But if we put in a crappy performance (even if we scrape a draw like against Chelsea) it will show we still have a long way to go to being near top 4 level.
Defence will probably be outstanding as always, but we do tend to struggle to make chances against the better teams, and that means we aren't as good as them. Yet.

Exactly, we've matched the top teams in our performances over the past 18 months but just need to be a bit more clinical to finish games off. The Liverpool game was obviously clouded by the ref but we were unbeaten against them last year and did well against Arsenal too. We should have beaten United but for some defensive cock ups whilst 2-0 up.

United do have a great home record but we should go there with belief that we can get a result.

hate to piss on everyone's chips but in order to get three points at old trafford you needt to best some of the best player in the world.

Out think one of the best managers in the world, and usually beat either a bent ref or a referee that knows full well that his career is in tatters if he gives a major decision against United at home.

Playing at old trafford is like playing with five men against eleven, upfield all the way.

If we had a level playing field we would have every chance.

simple fact: Not many teams are "allowed" to win at old trafford. Not just decisions not given to you, but bogus decisions given to them. Penalties, Ridiculous amounts of extra time etc.

We'll need a miracle to be sure.

(But I'd take an unbias ref).

The [Poor language removed] spent the day playing hoof ball against them, keep it on the deck and we'll be in with a chance. In fact our poor record there could act as a bonus as we haven't gone there feeling so buoyant in years whilst they'll think easy meat, its only Everton(y) (y)
