Thought I’d make an independent thread because it seems a lot of people will be playing this. How are people building their character(s) so far?

I started normal mode on Xbox before switching to normal mode on PC which is far easier for me to play. I’m currently doing a hack/lockpick/persuasion kinda build using assault rifle as main weapon but frankly it’s a bit too easy to get around and kill mobs. My perks too are all chosen to make the game easier like pack mule, run speed, vendor prices etc.

I’m going to either respec my attributes tonight (can you respect perks too?) or start again in hard/supernova mode and push down the sniper route now I know where to find better gear and what damage types I need.

Can you explain what any of that means for the old members of the forum please ?
I think it's one of those threads where the older members like us should just hit the back button and leave the kids to talk about their little computer games in peace. I haven't played a computer game since pacman in the 80s so I'm pretty sure I won't be playing Outer Worlds.

Why do you assume only kids play computer games? Most adults I know either play them or wish they could get 5 minutes to themselves to play them.

The average age of a gamer is 37. Its a generation thing not an age thing, although obviously as you get older its more likely you'll have less time to play them for whatever reasons.
