Not sure if this has been mentioned recently but thought I would go on and have a look/laugh about what they're saying about us. I thought we were the deluded, bitter ones 
In fairness, one or two of them made some decent posts, but most of them are so far off the mark it's untrue.
Some of the posts last week (particularly the poster NGreat) suggested we're not a top 6 team:
"I didn't mention the word club, I said team. The six I mentioned are the best 6 teams in the country by far. Everton are probably top of the upper midtable group with Swansea, Southampton, and West Brom."
That post was before the weekend just gone when we were in fact in the top 6. The season just gone we finished...in the top 6 ahead of them. But apparently according to this genius, there is something he has missed and he can include any other team he wants ahead of us.
I love how the thread reminds them not to be bitter yet a lot of them can't help themselves. Loads of jibes about us not winning a trophy for 19 years etc but they conveniently miss the fact that their last league title came in 1990, 23 years ago!
"There have been 3 popes since your team last won a title and Russia was still the USSR when you last won the league
And no.. Finishing above us twice does not warrant a standalone trophy in case you are wondering.
You claim that only winners can lay claim to being the best, seeing as you have won the square root of **** all in recent history i do not understand how you can claim to replace us in the top six."

"For the last time, I'm talking about the quality of the team and not the size of the club. They are completely different things.
We have a far better team than you, we have players that you could only ever dream of attracting to your club. There is only Leighton Baines that would get in our team, and if you want to be biased, Mirallas.
We can come back to this at the end of the season when we finish 10+ points ahead of you if you are too deluded to see it now.

I have to say, I won't be looking forward to the Derby in a few weeks but it would be great if we could bring the deluded ****ers back down to earth after their good start. What's funny is that we accept that we are no longer a "top" club but one aiming for the top 5/6 each season. These go in to each season still believing it will be their year.
