This!! Went college when I left school to do a years gas course which I thought would lead me to an apprenticeship . Just last week I have finished and still no apprenticeship so I have rung about 20 companies today and i get the same answer No works quite at the moment or we already have a few apprentices on. Bag of ****e the Econamy is

You're right, but it gives me a greater chance of starting a well paid career, compared to coming out of education without any major qualifications.
