The nature of our transfers

This summer we have only bought from English clubs. Find it so odd we have hired someone like Steve Walsh yet we have essentially bought players that bob down the pub could tell you about. Not only that but we have payed such a premium for these players, again I thought Walsh would have been brought in to find gems from abroad on the relative cheap.

This window seems designed for immediate tangible improvement to get the squad into the top 6. The odd thing is they may have done enough to accomplish that but still have a poor window.

It's quite obvious based on the age of the players signed that the strategy has been to sign proven Premier League talent that won't need time to adjust to the league with the aim of moving up in the table immediately.

Not sure we have had a strategy. To need a centre half, a midfielder and a striker with just over 4 hours left shows we haven't had one or not a good one anyway.

Feel sorry for season ticket holders that this year really will be a waste of a year. I really don't see our squad is any better than last year and it feels like this is a wasted year of the project

We are five players down according to how many Koeman wanted and I think either he or the club need to let the fans know exactly what went wrong in this window because something is not right
