Pienaar's gloves

Player Valuation: £35m
So we've locked a guy up for years for walking around with his wang out.

BBC article:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-34140955
A man who has spent 10 years in prison because he goes naked in public has told the BBC he will continue his protest even if it means he has to spend the rest of his life in custody.

The former Director of Public Prosecutions Lord (Ken) Macdonald QC says it is not in the public interest for Stephen Gough to be prosecuted as he does not pose a danger to the public.

Mr Gough, known as the "Naked Rambler", was released from Winchester Prison on 14 August, aged 56, having served half of a 30-month sentence for breaching an anti-social behaviour order.

The cost to the taxpayer of his prosecution, imprisonment and legal appeals is estimated to be close to £1m.

Should we be jailing people for wandering round in the nude?

It's weird how we make such a big point of enforcing the idea that you should be ashamed of your body to kids.

Whole social construct of it is odd.

I say good on him. No evidence he's a paedo.

Would you welcome some weirdo prancing about bollocko in full sight of your kids?

Thought not. He's an affront to common decency.....but then again, so are kopites. Hang them, too.

I do not wish to see his penis. Unless he's bringing pasties and is taking us to the Lisbon.

If not, what a weirdo.

Don't walk around with no pants on - everybody knows that, that's one of the basics.

He's not doing anyone any harm, just parading around in his birthday suit. Pretty despicable that he has to keep losing his liberty just because he doesn't want to wear clothes in a so called civilised society and what a waste of taxpayers money. I'd leave the weirdo be.

Me and the missus were camping in Czech a couple of summers ago and it turned out the lake we had bunked down next to was popular with naturists, so when in Rome and all that. There were families, couples, folks on their own, all being very grown up about seeing things that we all have. I'm not sure what the problem is really and to lock someone up for being naked is pretty prudish imo.

It's not him going round in the nud that's the problem as such. It's the disregard for rules that he is well aware of. I'm not saying that he\we\anyone shouldn't be allowed to walk around naked, however society and the law currently forbids it. If you don't agree with the rules that's fair enough, but there are other/better ways to make your point.
