We've got a dedicated Formula 1 thread so with the motorsport season just around the corner I thought I'd make a thread for all other motor sports that anyone wants to talk about/share with others.

It might be a bit early for this thread but I thought I'd post it before I forgot about it. I want to try and watch more motor sport this season, especially these:

British Touring Car Championship
World Touring Car Championship
World Rally Championship
World Rally Cross Championship
GP2
DTM

I'm not really in to MotoGP or Superbikes but feel free to talk about them in here.

Bumping this to talk about Bathurst. Probably the most dramatic and gripping race I've ever seen.
The last 30 minutes was utterly mental.
To start you have a split after a safety car, with 4&5 who have pitted going for fuel conservation, and 1-3 going all out setting track records to establish enough of a lead.
Then a crash occurs and you have the top 3 pit, with the leader looking as though he'll emerge out in front despite having pitted due to the driver in fourth going into the dirt, but miraculously avoiding the wall. However he goes to drive out of the pits and stalls/has a starting problem and the car will not start so he goes out of the running. After this, 4 is spun around by number 2, meaning both are out of the race.
So it becomes a 2 horse race between 3 and 5, where 5 is leading until the final lap where his fuel conservation fails and he runs out of fuel and number 3 who started last in a 26 car race and never led a lap of the race wins.
