In the hands of a skilled pilot, the Hurricane could achieve great success. In fact during the Battle of Britain between July and October 1940, 1.720 of them took part and had the honour of claiming 80% of enemy aircraft shot down by Fighter Command

As awesome as they were, from the guys who had to maintain them.....they were dogs.
Pretty plane, though I much prefer the F-15 in looks and as my fave jet.
For pure beauty, I really do like the Hurricane over the Spitfire. Also right up there is the P-51 and the Me-262. At first looking like a awkward teenager, it really grows on you.
