The modern day Evertonian

Totally agree. We were utter dirge under Smith and we used to back the team to the hilt. Same with moyes for the most time.

One game goodison at its best could get our season going. Up to the players as well though to show the same commitment as the fans. Evertonians have never turned on a team, regardless of the result, if you can see them playing for the shirt.
I wonder if it was because it was only a few years after the FA Cup win and that was why people sang more. At Hillsborough on Tuesday, it was just like being back at Goodison in the 90s. OK, so Sheffield Wednesday have that stupid band but their fans were great. Compare to Goodison, which is dead.

Most of our team don't give a [Poor language removed] about the damn shirt. They're not from Liverpool and didn't grow up supporting the team.

I'm upset about tonight's game
However I was more upset by the Nivea advert that clearly intimates that the Liver bird does not like anything Blue by stamping on a blue car with a driver in a blue top.
This I think contravenes the known fact that the liver bird represents the city, not a particular club and therefore we should complain to the advertising standards authority.
This diversion from our own reality is necessary to contain my sheer disappointment about our situation.
