The Mighty Boosh

I really don't like Noel Fielding anymore and season 3 was markedly worse than the other two, but I can't deny how much I loved the series. They were absolutely ace live too when I saw them (pre-season 3, don't recall the year).

Plus I have proper manlove for Julian Barratt.

Never really got into this, like Noel Fielding on Buzzcocks and the quiz of the year thing but his stand up is terrible, each to their own though

His stand-up shows, in my opinion, how Julian Barratt was really the main man behind the Boosh.

That describes Noel Fielding, but the actual dialogue itself -- especially in season one -- is often kind of understated and familiar British comedy. That's more Barratt's work.

I actually think Fielding is funny when he's himself.

But what i've seen of Might Boosh just seems like an attempt of someone to be funny by being as wacky and offbeat as possible.

I know quite a few people who like it and we usually share the same tastes in comedy so i might give it a go from the start.

I mean, i love this :

a lot of Reeves and Mortimer stuff was surreal and odd but they were funny with it, Boosh just seems like they're trying too hard and not being funny.
