I reckon Hitzlsperger, Hargreaves and Ballack would all offer us a bit of quality in depth, might not be at their peaks but if they can avoid injury they are all still good players, the key being keeping them fit.

Ballack or Riquelme, why not?

To be honest I'd say no to both. I don't think they'd offer enough to justify the wages and they'd take time to gain fitness and adapt to this level of the game again (especially in the case of Riquelme).

I'm resigned to knowing Neville is going to be midfield for two months. I'm just hoping beyond hope we can pick up 9-12 points before Gibson returns so we're not in too much trouble, but we'll be playing with 10 men for the next five or six games.

I suppose whoever comes in is just backup or challenging Neville as the current backup so really best to probably forget the names
Best bet is whoever is gonna be fittest and available for selection when needs must.

All seems a bit silly to me, gibbo is out for only a couple of weeks so just stick fellaini there for next 2/3 games partner him with ossie and play 1 of Naismith or mirallas off jelavic in the ACM role.
