I love M&S but half of the appeal is in the mind. It's a placebo effect really. I believe they actually use the same supplier as Aldi for some things.

Slightly off topic, but you mentioned Aldi.

Given the many and various licensing law Re Australian supermarkets. There is a semi decent NZ wine called Oyster Bay, Aldi buy it in bulk, leaving the label exactly the same but calling it Kiaora Bay at half the 'Offie' price

I was told that you can gauge today's middle class easily:

If so then yes, you are middle class!
