Opened at the weekend.

Anyone been over it yet ?.

Seems like a massive rip to me.

Discounts for regular users / residents, upon registration.

Occasional users have to register - £5 reg fee and a min of £30 has to be put into the account.

Or pay £2 online each time you cross it, within 24 hrs or get smacked with a £60 quid fine.

I can see a lot of cloned registration plates getting put on tranny vans in the next few days ;)

Oh and it's also a P.F.I. that'll pay for itself in twenty years, then it'll be free, just like the Mersey Tunnels were supposed to be lollollol

I was unfortunate enough to be down there on Friday as they opened it or set fireworks off or something. I wasn't exactly there for that.

Seemed like the highlight of their year.

Anyway, massive rip off. Just go the long way.

Went the long way yesterday through Warrington, it really is the long way, that's the problem

If you are a Halton resident, you can pay £10 a year to go over as many times you want. I’ve not drove over yet but saying that, I go Runcorn about 5 times a year at a push. Took the kids the fire work display on Friday night. To be fair, they put on w good fire work display.

Another example of rip-off infrastructure. HS2 will make this seem like a good deal. I seriously hope there is a scandal involving HS2 and the whole thing gets shelved in favour of proper 21st century technology.
