Never really wanted to sign up to these forums as I disagree with a lot of things by some of our fans but everyone has there own opinion and this is mine from. Today I’ve had to witness an appalling performance as has many others.
My personal view of the game is it should of been dead and buried by the first half, but as the saying goes, if you don’t take your chances you get punished.
The difference between that first half performance and second half is a disgrace, you can say that we were leggy, we were shattered. But the bare minimum I ask for is just graft, graft for that ball back, close down.
Second half not one midfield player did that, that was one for the worse displays I’ve seen from a midfield central two for aslong as I can remember. Both have no legs, both looked at the bottom after 30/40 minutes of the first half.
Lucas Digne has been dreadful this season, getting bullied off a 16 year old is an embrassment.
Theo Walcott, what the hell was that second half. fancied it in the first half then the second??? hasn’t improved as a player since he was 16 years old,
Yerry Mina? Thought we had bought a ball playing centre half? mr panic if anything, kick and hope.
Holgate... should of scored, give away the ball far too cheaply, really needs to improve his decision making on when to pass short when to go long and keeping the ball.
Sidibe works hard but has one good game two bad,
richarlison Should of scored (again) and did ok in dribs and drabs but again not good enough,
DCL bullied off a youth player, on that performance an England call up is a long way away.
Pickford arguably our best player, Got done with a great strike tbf, great save aswell. But he needs to sort that kicking out ASAP!!!!!!
Schneiderlin... get rid, the guy is finished he was about 10 yards behind the pace never got close to any midfield player that whole game. Absolute liability. I wouldn’t mind if he did a forward pass every now and then but all he does is go side to side and back.
Sigurdsson... was he even playing?? He’s a passenger at this level, and you can not play him at central midfield. The amount of times he lost the second ball was embarrassing.
Coleman... same as sidibe at the minute has a good game for one then he’s ok for one bad for two.
I’m sick, this will hurt for a long while, getting beat of a reserve side is embarrassing. Yes they had the legs, yes we are shattered. But experience all day long should of beat them with the money we’ve paid the wages they are on. The bare minimum is effort and to many didn’t offer that today. Get rid and get rid quick. Glyfie, MS, sidibe (only on loan not worth the buy option price), walcott the main ones, and the to be fair these are the more experienced pro’s.. the ones who have been dreadful. Cut your losses, build a young team with energy and enthusiasm. These clowns don’t deserve to wear the shirt.
