The Llyn peninsula - Aberdaron

We have just spent the day there - it was like being in Spain - the whole peninsula is like a small Cornwall - the water was so clean my son claimed he saw white bait in the sea as he was swimming - a great day out from Liverpool .... or anywhere local - new by passes - easy journey - set of early well worth it .... Spanish climate in this weather....

Ive been there, its fantastic, the Peninsula i mean, Porthdinllaen I went to, look it up if you dont know it, highly recommended, some good coastal walks there too

Aberdaron is right at the tip at the bottom, the 4th cleanest beach in the UK very remote -

Went there in April for a week. Lovely part of the world.

There's a granite Quarry there I walked though once, it was amazing, apparently they used to export it to Canada to make curling stones.

we used to go there for family holidays when I was a dot, fantastic fun. Although in them days the camping facilities were a hedge and a field, you had to dig your own hole for the dumper bucket to get emptied out in. I wonder if Mr Roberts still has his farm there 40years on...

My bro went back there with his family to reminisce but forgot it was dry (in them days) on a sunday and all the alehouses were shut.
