We never do really. The only reason we beat Chelsea this season was because they werent managed well, and City - well im convinced we only play well against them because we have been expected to beat them for the past 5 seasons etc...

Martinez has to be given credit. Most teams that go up against them teams park the bus, and the majority of them can't hold the pressure. Wigan went out with a 3-4-3 which is what alot want to be played here (or 5-4-1) because it gets the most out of the squad defending and attacking. Going out with a formation like that is risky and its payed off, credit to Wigan and Martinez.

Best form of defence is attack and Martinex certainly adopted that method!

well if he does then Dave Whelan is about to spenk his wad on a new training complex at his request.

He was offered cash for transfers or a new facility, he chose the latter.

I would love him to take over moyes. Complete opposite like but could be the change we need, we have the right players to be attack minded.

If Moyes goes he would be my 1st choice. He's very loyal to Wigan so won't be shocked if he stays there for a few more years. When he was a player there he and a couple players rented apts in Wigan so they could be closer to the fans.

Wigan has developed a bunch of young players since they've been in the prem. McCarthy, Moses, Valencia, Palacios etc. Imagine how good they'd be if they had the money to keep them all.

I'm made up that Wigan are giving themselves a great chance to stay up, a much smaller club than most championship sides staying in the prem season in season out great story and Martinez a great manager.
