Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian

The Unobstructed View
sometimes it seems it is a case of "who you know", at a recent rendezvous with a mate of mine (who is the production manager at a leading bakery) i was getting the point across about sayers dropping the chilli pasty from their range and the wallet busting price of their fayre these days. i was in 1 of his bakeries emporiums today and am happy to report that i purchased a "student chilli beef slice" for the fantastic sum of 78p. other "student slices"were also available at the same tarif. no student i.d. was required but if asked i was going to say i was doing "life studies" .

so it seems that "Greenhalgh's" are prepared to give us what we want, i for 1 will no longer be goin to the 'arl fav. if there is a "Greenhalgh's" in the vacinity.

good work greenhalgh's in listening to g.o.t. members, i propose that "s****s" should be put on the banned words list now that a replacement has been found.

If only Greenhalgh's was more widespread, they do some of them in our local ASDA but only the Lancashire pastie and pork pies and a few more. No sign of the chilli pastie last time I went:( although now you've told me I wil pester my bird every time she goes shopping to have a look for me

I'm in Rossendale (between Burnley and Bury) mate so none of the bakeries near me:( Thats just made it worse, looking at that website some of the pasties look well tasty, gutted now. That Balti slice looks the dogs, and the hot pot pie, mind you they all do. Interestingly there's no mention of the chilli pasty on their website though

I'll have to start a local campaign or something. We have bakeries called Oddies and Mannings and I wouldn't give either of them the time of day
