Thanks man. Pretty much a 1200 calorie a day diet since April. Gone over occasionally. Then 6 days a week in the gym on a Ronnie Coleman split, 3-4 miles of running then past few days a 4 Mile walk at night to get the burn. Also animal fat burners. Casein before bed.
How was sticking to 1200 calories for that long mate? I find it difficult keeping around 2000. End up with hunger pangs just before bed and can't sleep until I've stuffed my face with something.

It’s not been too bad, few days I’ve gone over but it’s been fairly standard. The best thing I’ve probably done is drink casein before bed as it does help alleviate that ‘going to bed on an empty stomach’ feeling. I can’t say it’s been that restrictive either, still managed to eat most things, just smaller portions

I've lost about 1.5 stone since June. Around the same calories as you Mon-Fri but it goes awry on weekends!

I try and do weights 3-4 days and rowing 2-3 days. I'm getting there but it's slow..

What are animal fat burners?

And casein??

Yeah weekends can be the issue, I found it a bit easier thanks to lockdown meaning I wasn’t out drinking 30 pints. Animal fat burners are a decent supplement that help with hunger suppression, which might help your weekends a bit. Casein is a type of protein that is slow release, so taking that at night makes the body burn fat rather than muscle while you sleep.

I've got the hunger thing down just about. I can manage pretty much all day on a protein shake and then have dinner of an evening. I'm just greedy come weekend!

I'll check that casein out.. cheers..
