I thought tonight's show was almost flawless.

I was introduced to Rival Sons and was impressed.

Labyrinthe was spot on.

Rumer just [Poor language removed] blew me away. The new Dusty. Voice like butter and honey.

Star of the show was the utterly truthful Sinead O'Connor.

Is there a better musical showcase on telly?

Jools Holland is one of those people that when he dies, everyone will realise what a loss he was.

Brilliant show. Its introduced me to some of my favourite bands and artists over the years. Always fancied seeing his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, but never got round to it.

Just shows how music is so subjective. I thought that Rumer was possibly the worst singer I've encountered in a very long time. Thought there was something wrong with her mic to start with, so weak was her voice. Then she launched into the most bland, insipid Duffy-esque cruise ship dirge. Bummed out every high note, and was so flat for the rest.

The second song she did was even worse!
