Started by an Englishman !,clearly a decent amount of posters from these shores (re quite surprised by the "island in Dublin" thread in EO ).good info on where we can catch games, blue pubs etc.

a thread for all things Everton, the Irish lads in the squad, etc, but knowing the Irish, they like to chat b),so thought it more appropriate to place the thread in the world football forum.but Mods know best so if it's posted wrong then feel free.

Straight away so,not good news for me this BT channel, any pubs in Limerick/County Clare for the Stevenage fa cup tie ??.

I love the Irish

I'm very much a plastic paddy

Well, 3 of my 4 grand parents were from Ireland, so I'm at least partially Irish

Dads dad was from Cork
Dads mum was from Manchester
Mums dad was form Skibereen
Mums mum was from Waterville

They're just people, nothing special.

I went to work in London once years ago when I was young looking
for a job.I only had the price of a couple of pints and I met a man from the Eire.
I got talking to him ,he bought me a pint,i said I couldn't buy him one back.he
was not bothered and gave me a pound, which was worth a tenner. So its the Irish
for me anytime.I never met him again and no I didn't get bummed.

Love the Irish. Like most Yanks I've got more than several quarts of Irish blood running through me. Have always been fascinated with Irish history, culture, music etc.

Sadly never been. Would like to change that someday.

Come on over.
We'd be delighted to have ya.

If you ever need recommendations for places to go and things to see, ask away.

Planning a trip to Goodison in April. The original plan was to stay the week and catch the Southhampton game the following saturday as well, which would have left the whole week to do something like coming over to Dublin for a few days mid week.

But I think it's just gonna be a long weekend. Next time I come, I will try and build more time in. I can honestly say I've dreamed of travelling to Ireland about as long as anything.

My people are from the west and the north. Belmullet in the west and Antrim in the north.
