what to do in reply.

stirling work from the england r.l. lads at the world cup, formed a huddle and just ignored them.

campese used to refuse to face it saying he's not letting that spoil his concentration.

personally i would get the lads to face it and just before the finale and much tongue pulling i would form a firing squad and do a ,"ready, aim, fire" symbolic gesture.
that or all start morris dancing cos thats all it is ....mori morris dancing.

Bit of a damp squid. As for the Haka, it does seem a bit one sided. I remember the Rah Rah boys went face to face with the NZ team as they did their dance and they were told off for it. Not sure why as the Haka is done to give them psychological advantage. The other team should be able to counter it however they wish. All this about not respecting their culture is tosh.

i always thought it was squib.

the haka is a pisstake tbh, they should refuse to face it, it was tradition that they would be invited to perform it when touring but in recent years (and this was started by adidas who saw it as a marketing oportunity) it is used as a weapon to gain psychological advantage, once this was realised they started to do it at home games as well. it is not part of any game and should be consigned to the scrapheap.

i don't think haka should be banned, they can do whatever the [Poor language removed] they want afterall, sike-outs just make any sport more entertaining.

but you're right, any team should be able to do whatever they want to respond later on, which would make the whole spectacle even more entertaining.

it's the bit they carry into the game i dont like as well. they see it as if you disrespect the haka then it's gloves off and in the first few minutes they'll purposly disregard the rules of the game to cause physical injury.
brian o'driscoll(sp) tried to do the right thing for the lions by throwing a blade of grass to accept the challenge that had been layed down, how long did he last before getting speared by the a.b. captain and 1 of his henchmen, i think he caught the kick-off and got "done" in the 1st tackle.
