am i alone in absolutely detesting going to the barbers, you have weeks of thinking i've got to go tomorrow my mullet is growing and growing but everyday you think nah another day or two will do. you have to make a special trip into town to go as you know when u get it cut for the rest of the day your back will be annoyingly tickly with stray hairs finding there way down there so you have to get home asap for a shower or suffer the consequences.
you then get there and scream to yourself FU** when you see a massive que thats gonna take at least half an hour but you stay as a fit blonde is working there and you hope you get hair cut by her with a chance of 4/1 with the other 3 cutting either fat or gay.
then you pay your good money for a hair cut you know will last about a month then have to get it cut again.
women are the worse when they get a hair cut for EVERY special occasion.

well i now feel like a woman as i am about to take the crappy trip into town then a rush home for shower as tomorrow i get train to london for the semi final
onwards everton!!

its awful, my mates wife used to do it for me but then she got pregnant and i felt guilty bothering her..

they always seem to 'judge' your hair and then theres the inane chat, just awful.. the whole thing

oh you mean when they ask you exactly the same questions as they have for the last 5 journeys in there and you are fake laughing your whole through it whenever they say something, terrible times mate

Not a problem i have had for quite a few years now, run the clippers over my head once a week and i am done. takes about 5 minutes.

Once again, the forum makes me feel slightly less of an oddball.

I constantly put it off... Every time convincing myself that a) I'm growing it long or b) it actually looks better this way.

Has gotten to the point before where the boss has told me to sort my **** out and I cant be seen at meetings like some hippy-punk mutant

you put it off too long then u have problems mate, everone will be delighted to know i just got back and had it cut, actually quite pleasant this time, got it done by a legend trukish guy talking about fenerbache and everton not talking about where i'm going on holiday to a fat mess,.
then got in the door and dhl arrived with my tickets GET ****** IN THERE

ah the barbers.

At the one I go to, You book your appointment time with your hairdresser, turn up, no wait, get a private themed room, get your haircut, and a free beer to drink whilst its being done.

It's not cheap though mate. £16.

But once a month I can live with that compared to situations like the OP said.

Other than having to park up and pay £1.60 for 1 hour at the multi storey, i can't complain.
