quality film, I got that for Xmas in 86, watched it loads of times. Didn't watch any of the games live though.

Has 1982 got a claim to being a better world cup though? Classic games like Brazil-Italy, France-Germany. Iconic players (Zoff, Rossi, Zico, Falcao, Rumenigge, Platini etc). Tardelli's celebration etc.

i was only 3 in '82. i put 86 because it was my first wall chart etc... i remember the crowd noise being something i had never heard before and because maradonna single handedly (literally) won the world cup.

Most memorable, 1990.

"Best". (Whatever that means), 1970 I guess. As in so many "Bests" happened in it. Best side ever, best save ever, best tackle ever, best goal ever. First in colour as well, which was ace. But I was only 5 at the time, so didnt appreciate any of that. Other than the colour TV, which we had to go next door to watch cos we didnt have one.
