I realise there is another thread especially for Armstrong, but as I type tonight, Lance Armstrong's reputation is being torn to shreds by the evidence being published right now.

I ask the question: Is this the greatest fraud in sporting history ? I would love to read some other ideas...

IMO, on the basis that it is not exactly a surprise that LA was doped, and that doping & cycling have been bed follows for beards, I would say the SA cricket match fixing stuff with Cronje was certainly more shocking, as no one, not even other players like Atherton, Vaughan, the Aussies, had any idea what he was up to.

Oh, and Aldridge. Defo the biggest sporting fraud of all.

Always reckoned he was very over rated, was very lucky to be in a really good RS side, and always had a chip on his shoulder that he wasnt Ian Rush. Tongue in cheek like, but never liked him, and his general snideness since playing gets on me nerves.
