A monkey can cut a lawn - I was much higher than that as a former Propagating Horticulturist - Nursery Superintendent

Years ago I came home after work only to discover that the missus in a fit of inspired madness had asked the neighbour to start the mower. She was just finishing off as I drove up.

I nearly went into cardiac arrest. There were clumps of long grass left all over the place. Instead of straight lines evenly spaced they were wonky & ran off at angles. My first impression was that she had been drinking straight whisky for half the day. I walked over & with a big smile she asked my what I thought.

It may well be that a monkey has better lawn cutting skills than my wife.
