So then fellow Blues, lot's of talking points over the weekend...
FA Cup win
Great win for the Blueboys. Scunthorpe are not in the greatest form at the moment, but indeed we have fallen at this early hurdle in many a cup in previous years.
Chelsea next? Seems a lot on here are confident of a good performance, and for good reasons. It seems that we actually DO have other options without hoping for millions to buy new players. It seems the screams of the fans to change it up finally saw a welcome change that proved to be excellent to watch and a couple of good wins. I'm very chuffed for the travelling blues who's hard earnt money was spent on a great day or days. Great stuff...
In other news, the RS are out of the cup thanks to Berbatov falling prey to a banana skin conveniently located inside the penalty area, and of course Gerrards two footed stamp on the game. ooh err Stevie Larrrrrr.
GOTLife.
With what seemed like a bolt out of the blue (poor i know), The Royal Blue curtains where pulled back unveiling, not a new stadium, but even better - A brand new revamp on our Home from home from home GrandOldTeam. A big "shout out" and "respek innit" to all involved and very excited at the prospect of the site becoming an out of control Everton monster to rival that of the OS.
The Derby looms.
Could we make this a 6 pointer?? Would be a great boost to a rollercoaster season so far, such is the Everton theme park we all know and love...
Transfers
Looks like despite Moyes sound bytes, we may nip in on a couple of young players on the cheap. Going by Moyes form, i'm quite excited at the idea. (See Homepage for further info)
GOTnews.
Another busy weekend on the forum, with the laughable daily RS's antics including Babel being a hot point of discussion after he aquired a hooky version of the Photoshop Express App, and the antics of other RS players and that Berb dive/foul.
Still speculation on Pienaar. With his apparantly forbidden Twitter account causing havoc on the interweb, forcing Daily Mail writers to scramble like starving animals at the smallest bit of fat to chew. A mixed reaction from Blue tweeters. I'm fairly defeatist about it as LCAB says he's defo going bar an amazing you turn in policy on him and his agents part. On a postive note, he's still playing well and doesn't appear to be disturbing the team too much a la Lescott (of Star Trek / Big Project fame). But no doubt this is still open to debate...
Forumites still quite split on Bily, some saying he had a good game, but some still wanting to see more. Given what we paid for him, you could forgive fans for wanting more. I hope he gets more game time as I personally think confidence is everything in football, especially the Premier League.
Lot's of new members joining daily. Welcome to the forum all. Get stuck in and let's have a good laugh.
Alio, how was your weekend???? I went shopping at IKEA. I'd never ever been to Sweden before.....
