The Gordon Lee era

Lee was tactically astute. Never more so than when he switched RB John Gidman into a CM role for the QF v Ipswich in 1980 (I think). Everyone thoguh WTF, but Gidman had an absolute blinder and we beat them 2-0. Ipswich were one of the best 2 or 3 sides in the country then.

Hmm tactically astute reminds me of that manager we had in the 2013/2014 season.
