Why don't they say that on their website then?
Why don't Liverpool say so?
Why don't the FA say so when releasing the fixtures?
Because there's no need to and the vast majority of people don't care. Requesting certain fixtures is a well known occurrence, not worth making a big deal over really.
Anyone know why we ask for it first? If we get one request per season it seems an odd one.

Helps get the season ticket money in probably, if it were in the second half of the season, some might only get the half-season tickets.

Give me some proof of other clubs requesting certain fixtures without good reason then if its a well known occurance.
I know it doesn't really matter but it bugs me that if it is true that we ask for it at home first that no one actually knows either way. If we do they'd be some kind of proof right?

I hate having the home derby first. Especially as we are always ****e at the start of the season and the away is an even tougher fixture.
I highly doubt we ask for it first tbh.
Even if we weren't so gash at the start of the season, it's still a lot better phycologically to know you've got a home fixture against them later in the season if revenge is needed.
Hate having the derby at home first. And it happening 12 years in a row shows something is definatly up.
